Intellectual Property Protection Forum
February 27th 2020
Olive Gardens Hotel, Hurlingham, Nairobi
About the Event
Working with students, academic and business leaders, innovators and techpreneurs, and small and micro enterprises for over years, IREN has previously developed protection structures intended at protecting the various novel ideas and innovations. Recently however, IREN has realized a need to involve its stakeholders in the process protection for their Intellectual Property as well as adequately update its key stakeholders of the requirements and processes of Intellectual Property Protection.
In order to achieve this, IREN will be hosting a forum facilitated by a Patent Attorney with the objectives of the event being:
• To update its stakeholders of the various intellectual property rights: Patents, Copyrights, and Trademarks
• To appraise its stakeholders on the requirements and procedures for acquiring intellectual property rights protection
• Share ideas, concerns, and experiences with regards to intellectual property rights protection
As an outcome of the forum, IREN will then undertake the development of Intellectual property protection tools that will guarantee our stakeholders protection for any intellectual property submitted to us with a key focus on Patents, Trademark and Copyright.
